In 1947 Father Peyton moved to Hollywood and started Family Theater Productions. Major stars of the day acted in family dramas on radio to encourage more people to pray the Rosary every day. The Family Theater of the Air radio series ran from 1947 to 1969 on the Mutual Broadcasting System and was one of the longest running radio drama series in history.
