A Companion for Lent |
| Lent for many Catholic Christians is a time when they experience the need to do more than what they do every day be it a sacrifice, additional prayer time etc. It is not an absolute for everyone yet for many it responds to a need. The Gift of the Cross, Lenten Reflections in the Holy Cross Traditions is a great companion piece to our everyday practices. I know most of the Holy Cross religious who wrote the different reflections for each day of Lent. I think this companion piece will speak to Catholic Christians who are looking for everyday experiences that correspond to their own lives and experiences where God and prayer are to be found. |
